Living in the Dark

About a month ago a friend of mine—a musician I jammed with for several years—committed suicide. The day before Thanksgiving another friend called to tell me his grown son killed himself. That’s what happens when people have no hope, or lose sight of the hope they once had. They find themselves living in the dark emotionally and spiritually. Something we see a lot of today with all that’s going on in the world.

As a disabled Vet, I’ve had my share of physical and emotional pain, along with various other trials and tribulations: like most people.

I have found that various creative outlets along with good relationships help with stress-relief. But the only long-lasting hope I’ve ever found comes through a strong faith in God.

I recently began a YouTube channel that will primarily deal with creativity as stress-relief and therapy, along with touching on traditional values, like love, patriotism, and faith. My fourth video, recently uploaded, is called “Living in the Dark”, where I took an original song lyric and turned it into a skit of sorts.

If traditional values, creativity, and faith interest you, give it a look. If you like it don’t forget to subscribe in order to enjoy future videos.

Thank you, and God bless.
